Predicting the Superbowl halftime entertainment has become sport itself. “It’s a Super Bowl tradition to speculate about the performers” said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. The rumors floating around for the February 3 halftime entertainment in Atlanta, now surround Maroon 5.

The band has not officially commented, and the NFL Commissioner’s office has only stated that they are continuing the “work with Pepsi on our plans but do not have any announcements to make on what will be another epic show.”
Because of the many big Hip Hop and R & B artists from the Atlanta area, there are already complaints about Maroon 5 as the potential rumored choice, preferring instead bands like Ludacris, Outkast, Lil John, or others.
