German driver, Sophia Floersch, went airborne at about 171 miles per hour and crashed into a photographer’s bunker during yesterday’s race at the Macau Grand Prix.
She’s okay, although she did fracture her spine. She sent out a Tweet saying that she’s “fine” and headed in for surgery.
Just wanted to let everybody know that I am fine but will be going into Surgery tomorow morning. Thanks to the @fia and @hwaag_official @MercedesAMGF1 who are taking great care of me.
Thanks to everybody for the Supporting messages.
