A guy from Sterlington is counting his lucky stars after he was driving down the road when his truck was hit by lightning, and then caught fire.

According to KTVE, Sterlington Police Chief Barry Bonner, the man was heading into work in Monroe southbound on US 165 from East Lake when a bolt of lightning his his truck.
The truck caught fire, and the driver was able to pull over near the Sonic at LA 2 and US 165.
Police say the man was not hurt, but his truck is a total loss.
