We received the news last night that long time equipment manager Lynn Williams passed away. The passion in which Lynn loved the Ragin’ Cajuns was unmatched by anyone.
Lynn Williams served as an equipment manager for the University and saw a program grow in his 30 years with the program. He served several coaches but the one constant year in and year out was Lynn Williams. Much like Blackjack before him Lynn was in a way the heart and soul of the Cajun program. The excitement he would share each spring. The conviction and pride he had in the young men that played for the Cajuns was unmatched.

“The entire Louisiana Athletics family mourns the loss of these two special individuals. Both Leonard and Lynn dedicated their lives to the service of the University of Louisiana and its student-athletes. The impact they had on so many people will serve as their legacy, and both will be dearly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to their families.”
