The Louisiana little league team from River Ridge, representing the Southwest, is moving on in the Little League World Series.

On a tremendous performance by slugger, Reece Roussel (4/4, 3-Doubles, 1-Grand Slam), River Ridge crushed the Southeast team, Virginia 10-0 and will now move on to the US Championship game to face Hawaii on Saturday. (Hawaii won the first meeting in the opening round, 5-2.) The winner will face the winner of Japan and Curacao in the World Championship game on Sunday night.
