NOLA No-Call referee named top NFL official according to ESPN

The referee who was officiating during the infamous NOLA no-call in the NFC Championship against the Los Angeles Rams has been picked as the NFL’s top referee by ESPN.

In a poll conducted by ESPN NFL experts, Bill Vinovich was named top official.

NFL expert Kevin Seifert says, “His crews usually average the fewest penalties per game in the league, producing crisp games with maximum focus on players and coaches.”

I am guessing that they average the fewest penalties because they need eye exams??  Who Dat!!

Positive Saints results in this poll,  making the top 10 was Saints Head Coach Sean Payton who came in at No. 4 behind New England’s Bill Belichick, Andy Reid with the Kansas City Chiefs and Doug Pederson with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Saints offensive coordinated Pete Carmichael Jr. was picked as the third best offensive coordinator in the NFL.

The Saints all-white color rush uniforms were picked as the NFL’s best uniform.
