It was a GAME SAVING tackle! It was just no a tackle that we see in most games!
During last Friday night’s high game between two California high schools, Fairfield High School and Rodriguez, something very strange happened.
During the game, Fairfield picked off a pass from Rodriguez. But the player who intercepted the ball, took off running for the wrong end zone.
That was when Fairfield player Kha-Ron Thrower jumped into action! Thrower had to take matters into his own hands and stop his teammate from running into a safety.
Kha-Ron Thrower ran 50 yards to bring down his teammate at the 10-yard line with a ‘game saving’ tackle.
As Thrower pointed out in a tweet, it was a ‘Not Top Play’ and a ‘Top Play’ all rolled into one.
