Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away, are you ready for turkey, football and naps?
A new study from House Method found the most popular Thanksgiving recipe in every state, based on Google searches.
Roasted turkey recipes were on top in nine states, and salads and stuffing both won six states. Other foods won at least one state, including mashed potatoes, yams, deviled eggs, gravy, carrots, and casseroles.
In Louisiana, the most popular or most searched is dressing. But if you live in Acadiana, you have to ask what kind of dressing. A regular rice dressing, cornbread dressing, eggplant dressing, or even a stove top stuffing type dressing?
The study even ranked Thanksgiving desserts.
Pumpkin pie and brownies tied for the top spot, pecan pie and sweet potato pie split the southern vote. Desserts like apple fritters, pumpkin cheesecake, and apple pie all also won a few states.
