Peyton Manning is apparently not ready to enter the broadcast booth and commit to the weekly Monday Night Football schedule.
Sources with the New York Post have reported that Manning declined to be a Monday Night Football analyst. After doing “Peyton’s Places” and “Detail” for ESPN+, thoughts were that the legendary quarterback could make around $18 million a year doing MNF. Manning’s agent declined to comment.
ESPN also attempted to bring Tony Romo to the MNF broadcast team, but Romo signed a new 10-year deal with CBS.
