The New Orleans Saints have become the latest NFL team to offer a full refund of season tickets or a deferment toward the 2021 season.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the NFL seems to be going forward with 2020 season in empty stadiums or having a sparse amount of fans in attendance following social distancing guidelines. Saints season ticket holders are now being given the option to cancel their 2020 season tickets and receive a refund while still maintaining the option to renew in 2021. (Previously, a cancelation would have forfeited the set of seats to fans on the waiting list for season tickets.)
The organization is also offering season ticket holders the option to use the money paid for the 2020 season towards the cost for the 2021 season.
