Former Defensive Back for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Charles “Peanut” Tillman is now eligible for the NFL Hall of Fame.
The creator of the “Peanut Punch” was known for his ability to create turnovers and retired from the NFL after 11 seasons with the Chicago Bears and 1 with the Carolina Panthers. Tillman joins Peyton Manning, Calvin Johnson, Wes Welker, Roddy White, Heath Miller, Steven Jackson, D’Brickashaw Ferguson, Logan Mankins, Charles Woodson, Jared Allen, Justin Tuck, Kevin Williams, and Jerod Mayo as first-year eligible nominees.
Former USL (Now UL) quarterback, New Orleans Saint, and Carolina Panther, Jake Delhomme is also one of the 130 modern-era nominees.
