Lafayette Police Department is hosting Trunk or Treat Sunday, October 31, 2021, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Girard Park Parking Lot at 500 Girard Park Drive for all children 12 years and under along with their parents. Enjoy decorated police units while Officers hand out candy at your vehicle. This will be the safest place to trick or treat!

If you live on the parade route (starting at Prairie St.), please, please decorate your porch and front yard, or if you own or operate a business, please decorate your storefront, and sidewalk in front of your business!! See who has the scariest, most colorful, most theme-based business all for fun!
Families will have a spooktastic time at this year’s annual Terror-on-the-Teche, with a special show by children’s performers and storytellers Brian and Terri Kinder! Children and families are encouraged to come dressed in not-so-scary costumes and candy treat bags will be provided for the children, while supplies last. City Wide Scavenger Hunt October 30 from 1-3:30 p.m. featuring participating businesses in Carencro. Get your clue cards @Salon Rouge Carencro and start your hunt. Be sure to drive by and spot every business participating, they will hand out treats & stamp your clue card, once you have gotten all your stamps, drop it off to Salon Rouge Carencro by 3:30 p.m. for your chance to win prizes! Children & Adult prizes will be given.
Registration is now open for the Youngsville Sports Complex Monster Mash Halloween Glow Tournament at Sugar Beach! Friday, October 29th! First serve at 7pm. Scare-n-Cro Fall Fest is happening October 31 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm in Caysi Park Parking Lot. Now taking reservations for anyone who would like to hand out candies/goodies for the event. Just park your vehicle, decorate your area and have FUN. Spaces are limited & safety precautions will be in place. LSUE is hosting a trunk or treat on October 31 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Businesses, individuals, elected officials, political candidates, groups & churches are welcomed and encouraged to host a trunk, table, or booth. The registration fee is $10. First responders “show” with all of their equipment and K-9 to take pictures with the kids.

Jeanerette: Drive-thru Halloween event at City Park on October 30 from 6-8 pm. Everyone gets a treat, no one leaves their car. Donations accepted at the Fire Hall on 1810 Martin Luther King, Police Department or City Hall.
Hub City Ford (2909 SE Evangeline Thruway in Lafayette) is hosting the 6th Annual Trunk or Treat on October 30 from 11 am to 1:30 pm. Costume contest will be held at 1 pm.
Drive-thru trick or treat: Scott Business Association in partnership with Scott Area Team Sports, Scott Police Department, and The City of Scott will be hosting the 2nd annual Scary Street in Scott. October 31, 2021, from 2 pm to 4 pm on Lions Club Rd in Scott. This is a drive-through trick or treat event where Lions Club Rd. will be blocked off and local businesses and organizations will be handing out candy to children inside the vehicles. Parents are asked to drive their kids entering from St. Mary St. and will exit onto one of the side streets from Lions Club Rd.
A Trunk or Treat will be held on October 30 from 2 pm to 7 pm at the Walmart in Carencro, located at 3810 NE Evangeline Thruway. There will be a photo station, games, music, and costume awards. City of Franklin’s 3rd Annual Boo on the Bayou Saturday, October 30 from 6 pm – 8 pm. A Safe, Family Friendly Trunk or Treat along the Historic Bayou Teche on Teche Drive lined with Businesses, Churches, Schools, Non-Profit Organizations, and Community Members striving to continue the Revitalization of Franklin. Boo on the Bayou will happen simultaneous with city-wide Trick or Treating on October 30 from 6 pm – 8 pm.
St. Landry Parish Government will hold a free Haunted House Oct. 30-31st at the Yambilee Building from 6- 8 p.m.

First United Methodist Church in Crowley is hosting a Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, October 30 from 4:30 to 6:30. They will be serving hot dogs for children & families.
The Church Point Police Department will be holding their first annual Trunk or Treat. Held at the Depot and Depot Park, they are welcoming cars and decorated tables and tents. You may contact them at the Church Point Police Department, 337 684-5455 to reserve your spot.
The Town of Iota will be hosting its annual Trunk or Treat on Trick or Treat night. Saturday, Oct 30th from 5:30 to 7:30. If you would like to participate, pick up a form up at JW’s. Forms can be returned to JWs.
Drive-Thru Trick-or-Treating will take place at Rayne City Hall from 5:30 to 7:30 on Saturday October 30. They will be distributing hot dogs & halloween candy to children.
