The ruling stated that Blackstock had crossed the line as a manager by booking gigs and securing deals for Clarkson, actions that should have been carried out by an agent. As a result, Blackstock has been ordered to pay Clarkson $2,641,374 in commissions. Clarkson filed for divorce in 2020 after seven years of marriage and the divorce was finalized in March 2022.
