Barbie is introducing two new dolls to its Fashionista line: a blind Barbie and a Black Barbie with Down syndrome. The blind Barbie was created with input from the American Foundation for the Blind, featuring vibrant clothes, a white cane, and thoughtful packaging for children with low vision. The Black Barbie with Down syndrome, created in partnership with the National Down Syndrome Society, reflects physical attributes of individuals with Down syndrome and features a dress in blue and yellow colors symbolizing Down syndrome awareness. Both dolls aim to promote inclusivity and representation within the Barbie world and are available for purchase at $10.99.
