Artist Round Up is an opportunity for creatives of all disciplines to come together in a space to meet like-minded creatives who they could collaborate with, talk to, find inspiration from and just generally hang out with.
For our April meet up we’ll be joined by Darrell Bourque, Louisiana’s Poet Laureate for November 2007-June 2008 & May 20, 2009-May 2011. His process of writing is the central hub around the which the main gallery exhibition IN MEDIAS RES: How One Story Becomes Another took form. Darrell’s response, relation and collaboration to/with visual artists is unique to the literary practice, it is in this spirit we will mingle and converse as a group and meet some of the artists who’ve inspired his work.
You are welcome to bring and present an item which was directly inspired by the work of others.
