Amazon MGM Studios is adapting Colleen Hoover’s novel Verity, with Nick Antosca and Alex Hedlund producing and Hillary Seitz writing the script. The story follows Lowen Ashleigh, who ghostwrites for bestselling author Verity Crawford and uncovers dark secrets about her. The book, originally self-published in 2018, reached #2 on the New York Times bestsellers list before being acquired by Grand Central Publishing in 2021. Hoover’s first page-to-screen adaptation, It Ends With Us, is set to release in theaters on August 9.
