The Malaysian government has agreed in principle to resume the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, which disappeared in 2014 with 239 people on board. A $70m deal with US-based marine exploration firm Ocean Infinity has been approved, with a “no find, no fee” arrangement. The search will cover a 15,000 sq km patch in the southern Indian Ocean, where investigators believe the plane crashed. The new search aims to provide closure to the families of those on board, as previous efforts to locate the wreckage have been unsuccessful.
