Come to Grand Coteau for the Hawaiian Blues Cruise Dance with Lil Buck Sinegal. The event takes place in Grand Coteau, but the atmosphere will transport you to the ease of a Hawaiian vacation. Lil Buck Sinegal will play your favorite Blues songs to keep you dancing all night long. There will be food and drinks for sale. Lil’ Buck Sinegal is known as a phenomenal guitarist with a career that spans more than five decades. With over 300 recordings under his belt, he has played and recorded with Clifton Chenier, Henry Gray, Rockin’ Dopsie, Buckwheat Zydeco, and other blues artists, including Grammy-winning efforts with Paul Simon’s 1987 album “Graceland.” He also worked as a session guitarist for Excello on swamp blues by Slim Harpo and Lazy Lester. Lil’ Buck was inducted into the Louisiana Blues Hall of Fame in 1999.
All proceeds for this event go to toward renovation of the KPC Hall, formerly known as the St. Peter Claver gym in Grand Coteau. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
