The Lafayette Recreation and Parks Department has set the registration period for Youth Basketball. Registration throughout the Parish will begin on Saturday, November 3, 2018 and continues through to Sunday, November 18, 2018.

Basketball as offered by LRPD is for boys and girls. This program is for children ages 7 to 16, based on their age as of December 31, 2018.

Registration will take place at each of the six Youth Associations in the Parish. Those Associations include: BPA (Brown Park Athletics), CSA (Cajun Sports Association), CAYSI (Carencro Area Youth Sports, Inc.), SATS (Scott Area Team Sports), SLYSI (Southwest Lafayette Youth Sports, Inc.), and SWA (Southwest Athletics).
