Project Front Yard’s Trash Bash

All citizens and volunteer groups are encouraged to take part in becoming the solution to Lafayette’s pollution by participating in cleaning our public roadsides and waterways for a litter free community.

Pick a designated area on land or along the Bayou Vermilion within Lafayette Parish you intend to liberate from litter. If assistance is needed in determining a site, please call (337) 291-5637 or email recycling@lafayettela.gov

Complete and submit registration by Friday, April 5, 2019.
A free trash bash t-shirt will be available to the first 100 participants
Gloves, bags, safety vests and litter grabbers will be available at the Recycling office (400 Dugas Road, Lafayette, La. 70507) from Monday, Aprl 1st through Thursday April 4th between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and also at Beaver Park the morning of the event.

Call ahead if you will be picking up your supplies at the Recycling office prior to event day.

Food and drinks will be provided to participants upon return to Headquarters.

Please return back to Beaver Park Pavilion by 11:30 am

Directions: Take Surrey St. to Fisher Road (across from Lafayette Regional Airport) Stay right at the fork on Fisher Road and follow it until you reach the T. Parking will be located near the pond on your right. The Begnaud House is across the street from the Beaver Park Pavilion, to the left of the parking area.
