It’s Throwback Thursday on BIG 102.1, and again we did some digging on YouTube to find another vintage Acadiana TV commercial.
This week, we found a classic New Generation commercial from the 80s! The original New Generation store was located on Johnston St. and sold mostly electronics. I say ‘mostly’ because along with buying a VCR, you could also get a nice pair of acid wash jeans.
What’s interesting about this New Generation commercial from the 80s is that John Fred sang the jingle. If you remember, John Fred and His Playboy Band had a #1 song with “Judy in Disguise.”
