Athens High School will name its football stadium “Joe Burrow Stadium.”
It’s another great honor for the LSU QB and Heisman Trophy winner. Athens High School is Burrow’s alma-mater and at a meeting on Thursday, the Athens City School Board voted unanimously to name the football stadium after him. Beginning next season, the Athens Bulldogs with play at R Basil Rutter Field at Joe Burrow Stadium.
