Dallas artist Steven Novak keeps getting visits from the cops due to his realistic Halloween decorations.
Novak’s front lawn is a macabre murder scene with bloody bodies, blood spatter, and other elements of pure horror. The Dallas Observer reports that Novak wanted to do a hyperreal Halloween scene not with lights and fog machines, but with dummies and 20 gallons of blood.
Police have been called to the house on several occasions by concerned onlookers. For now, the cops have allowed Novak to keep his decorations.
