According to ESPN Reporter Ed Werder, New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees has multiple rib fractures and a collapsed lung.
Werder has reported that Brees suffered a couple of fractured ribs on a hard hit he took in the first half against the 49ers on Sunday but also had three other fractured ribs from the previous week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that were not seen on X-ray until today. The Saints QB also has a collapsed lung on the right side.
