Heart for Iberia and the Iberia Mental Health Initiative cordially invite runners and sponsors to their first annual Bayou Side Run. The 5K race will be held in downtown New Iberia on Sat., May 22, 2021 beginning at 8 a.m.

The event aims to raise mental health awareness and funds for the Iberia Mental Health Initiative, a coalition of concerned citizens dedicated to identifying and addressing the mental health needs of our community.

Sponsorship will help defray the cost of organizing the event and invite participants to have an active role in the community. Funds raised will be used to purchase medals, food/drink for runners, post-race activities and other event costs. Any additional money from sponsorships will be used to support the Iberia Mental Health Initiative.

A sponsorship of $250 or more guarantees placement of the business’ logo on the back of race day shirts, as well as on the registration website. In-kind donations for much needed goods and services and budget relieving contributions like water, snacks, race food (fruits, granola bars, etc.) are also welcome.
