On September 1, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. members of the Abbeville Boy Scouts of America Troop 85 will be picking up non-perishable items to send to the victims of Hurricane Ida.  Scouts will be at the Pere Megret Center (formerly K.C. Hall) next to the main fire station on W. Vermilion Street.  Some examples of items include can goods, toiletries, etc..  Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
