Louisiana’s nine legal, medical cannabis pharmacies saw long lines and bustling business in the first days that smokable marijuana flowers were legally available.
John Davis, CEO of Good Day Farm, which grows & produces medical cannabis products for the LSU AG Center, says some of Monday & Tuesday’s long lines and wait times to get the herbs are due to high demand for the product.
Medical cannabis can be sold for anywhere from $10 to $25 a gram, depending on the retailer.
Good Day Farm started up a substantial growing facility near Ruston to ensure supply meets demand.
