Cajun Chili Fest Hosts State Cookoff to benefit Family Promise of Acadiana

Traveling chili cooking teams will be vying for the Louisiana State Championship at Cajun Chili Fest, Saturday, March 19, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Mendoza Ford in Maurice. In addition to the state cookoff, Cajun Chili Fest also features a local division for Acadiana teams to put their best recipes to the test for a chance to win cash prizes and bragging rights.

For $5, festival-goers can sample dozens of chilis, while enjoying family-friendly activities, including live music from Alligator Blue, raffles with great prizes, and more. Children age 12 and under are admitted free.
