Ribbon Cutting for Carencro Kiwanis Club’s New Community Pantry
WHAT: Carencro Kiwanis Club presents its first service project to the local community with the announcement of its Community Pantry.
WHEN: May 18th 2022 at 6pm.
WHERE: The ribbon cutting will take place at the pavilion directly behind Carencro City Hall (210 E St Peter St, Carencro, LA 70520) where the Community Pantry is setup.
WHY: The Carencro Kiwanis Club is a newly formed chapter and is ready to give back to the community. The Community Pantry is the first of many future projects the club will be organizing to help give back to the people. The Carencro Kiwanis Club is devoted to helping the less fortunate and more specifically children in need.
WHO: The Carencro Kiwanis Club board members will be in attendance as well as some regular club members. Speakers at the ceremony will include the Carencro Kiwanis Club President, Tracie Lenormand and the city of Carencro Mayor, Glenn Brasseaux.
