Bishop Douglas Deshotel will celebrate the annual “Blue Mass” at 11AM on Sunday, October 2, 2022, the Feast of the Guardian Angels, at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette. The Blue Mass is designed to express gratitude, show our appreciation, and pray for all first responders in our community. Please join us as we say “thank you” and pray for the continued safety of our Police Officers, Sheriff’s Deputies, State Troopers, Fire Fighters, Emergency Medical Personnel, and all those who put themselves in harm’s way each day to protect and serve others.
