Lafayette Ballet Theatre invites area dancers to audition on Sept. 10, and Sept. 11, for the 22nd anniversary of the holiday classic “The Nutcracker.” Auditions will take place at LBT, 201 Petroleum Drive, Lafayette, 70508.
Dancers must be at least 8 years old (by December 1) and have completed at least one year of ballet study and are currently studying ballet in an established dance program. Dancers are asked to wear ballet attire.
Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022: Ages 15 to professional. All pointe variations, with Chinese and Spanish.
Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022: for Ages 8 – 14 (NO pointe work)
$35. Required of participants ages 8 to 18 at the time of audition. (No audition fee for dancers age 19+.) Checks payable to LBT, cash at audition accepted. The online Cost is $36. Credit card payment is accepted on the LBT website only.
