A 10 mile race for kayaks, canoes, pirogues, and SUP’s from Jeanerette, LA to Charenton, LA through the parishes of Iberia and St. Mary on Sat., May 13. The race begins in Jeanerette City Park and ends on the Chitimacha Reservation.

The historic Bayou Teche runs straight from Jenerette to Charenton, LA with the river mileage very close to 10 miles. Racers will pass by miles of sugar cane farm land and retired and active sugar cane mills.
