hot dogs (all beef)

crab boil

butter

buns

your favorite condiments

Boil water with crab boil (use cautiously... a capful or 2 is usually enough for 6 dogs).  Poke a few holes in the dogs and boil.  Remove and dry on paper towel.

Heat hot dogs on griddle or frying pan to medium, melting 1/2 tbsp. of butter in it as it heats.  After patting dry, slice hot dogs lengthwise, butterflying them (leave attached).  Brown them on the grill.

Remove and place the open bun on the grill, browning the inside... don't flip unless you want it really greasy.
