The 9th Annual Mable’s Table Backpack Project will be Friday, July 26th 3pm - 5pm at Grace Presbyterian Church 518 Roselawn Blvd, Lafayette from 3- 5 p.m. Mable's Table Backpack Project has grown to serve not only the foster children in the community but also some of the homeless and most needy children as well. This year we will be packing 300 backpacks and 100 homework kits and doing many different projects to put in the bags. Any funds that remain after the purchase of backpacks and supplies will go to funding the Learning Fence and Mable's Table pop-up activity center. Donate, collect or volunteer.

Join United Way of Acadiana in providing free tax preparation services to our community. VITA volunteers, certified and trained by the IRS, help local residents save hundreds in tax preparation fees. Last year, we served over 3,000 residents, and with your help, we can reach even more.
