We are collecting new pajamas from Premie to XL Adult for children of all ages in foster care. Pajamas will be used in our First Night Bags and Community Closet.

You can drop off pajamas at the CASA of SoLA office(227 La Rue France) or any of our locations around Acadiana. Please see list below for drop-off locations.

IPAC (Iberia Parish Animal shelter) will be participating in

#EmptytheShelters sponsored by BISSELL Pet Foundation this

weekend!!

You have two days to find your next family member!

#Emptytheshelters will take place THIS Friday December 13th from

11am-3pm AND Saturday December 14th from 12pm-4pm.

Adoption fees are $25. Applications will be screened and must be

approved. Pre-approval is highly recommended and you will also have

the option to come 1 hour early on both days!!

On Saturday, December 14th, the annual Old Time Winter Family Day Celebration will begin at 10:00 a.m. and last until 4:00 p.m. with lots more to offer. The village will be filled with great learning opportunities, live music, delicious food, Native American storytelling, arts & crafts and self-guided tours. In fact, Papa Noël (the French Santa Claus) will be here and kids will be able to write letters to him sealed with wax. Our artisans will demonstrate several holiday happenings from 1765-1890 such as how to make candles, soap, Victorian paper ornaments, citrus pomanders and more. Also, we will have a reading of The Night Before Christmas each half hour. Admission is $5 for those 4 and older.

Families will pick up Christmas hats and goody bags filled with coupons and holiday treats at the chamber's office, along with their quest cards which track the activities they participate in throughout the day on December 7th from 9 am to 4 pm.
