The Healthy Acadiana Coalition is hosting their inaugural Healthy Kids Running Series beginning Sunday, September 23 until October 21 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM each Sunday. Healthy Kids Running Series is a non—profit program created to provide kids with a positive, educational, and fun experience in the world of running. Cities across the country are taking the Healthy Kids Running Series and bringing it into their towns to combat the increasing rates of child obesity in America. It is designed to motivate kids to be healthy and active and provide a fun environment to improve their self-esteem.
