The Lafayette Recreation and Parks Department will hold its 67th Annual Turkey Bowl on Saturday, November 17, 2018, and on Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Clark Field. The top teams from each of the three LRPD Youth Tackle Football Leagues will play each other on this weekend to decide which team is this year’s Parish Champion for each league. Also, the 10U Flag Football All-Star teams will play to decide this year’s Parish Champion.
On Saturday, CAYSI will play BPA in the Niner League Championship game (9 year olds) at 11:30 a.m. On Sunday, SATS will play CAYSI in the Mite League Championship game (9 & 10 year olds) at 3:00 p.m., and CAYSI will play BYYA in the Junior League Championship game (10 & 11 year olds) at 5:30 p.m. Also on Saturday, the 10U Flag Football League will crown an All-Star Parish Champion at 10:00 a.m. Admission is $5 for adults and no outside food or drink will be allowed into the stadium. Concession proceeds will go to the Lafayette Kiwanis Club.
