Lafayette Consolidated Government will hold an Arbor Day Celebration Friday, January 20, 10:00 a.m.  Local agencies, businesses, and organizations including the Lafayette Garden Club, Trees Acadiana, and Preservation Alliance of Lafayette will celebrate the planting of a tree in honor of Arbor Day at Heymann Memorial Park, 700 Girard Park Drive. Mayor-President Josh Guillory will also present and read the Arbor Day proclamation. The tree is donated by Grass Roots.
