Bestselling author E. Lockhart is an award-winning American writer of young-adult novels, adult fiction and children’s picture books. She will give a presentation to middle school and high school students on techniques for creating compelling narratives – how everyday emotion can be translated into powerful poetry, fiction, song lyrics, comic strips or film. She will touch on her recent novels We Were Liars and Genuine Fraud, but the focus will be on giving students tools for making narrative art.
