Welcome to Acadiana Animal Aid’s 21st Bark in the Park, which will be held on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019 from 10am to 2pm at Girard Park in Lafayette. This is our 21st consecutive year of hosting the event for our community and the wonderful families that love their canine members. Proceeds from this event help with the operational costs of our shelter and will save the lives of many homeless animals in our community. Everyone is encouraged to bring both their four legged and two legged children. It is a day of fun activities for the entire family; including fun jumps, rides, awesome food, prizes, special pampering for the pups, a photo booth, doggy spa services, micro-chipping, and doggy contests. The event will also include many free mini-courses on training techniques, ways to have fun with your pup, and improving your dog’s social abilities. Bark in the Park is attended by many vendors & rescue groups who distribute information, services, products and present dogs that are available for adoption.
