Two and four-legged guests are invited to celebrate the grand opening of Lafayette’s newest dog park May 25th at 10 a.m. The event will feature a ribbon cutting, live canine agility demonstration, information from local pet-centric businesses and organizations, adoption opportunities and door prizes. This is a dog-friendly event; however, guests must adhere to the dog park regulations.

The dog park will consist of a large fenced in area with benches, canine agility/exercise equipment and a pavilion for public use. Lafayette currently has one other Dog Park at the Graham Brown Memorial Park located at 1234 E. Pont Des Mouton Road.
