Bishop Douglas Deshotel will celebrate a special “Blue Mass” to honor and pray for First Responders in our community and throughout the Diocese of Lafayette. The Blue Mass will take place on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 4PM at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette. October 2nd is the Feast Day of the Guardian Angels. Please join us as we say thank you and pray for the continued safety of our Police Officers, Sheriff’s Deputies, State Troopers, Fire Fighters, Emergency Medical Personnel, and all those who put themselves in harm’s way each day to protect and serve others.
