The annual Carencro Veterans Day Celebration is making some adjustments in order to maintain public health measures. A unique tribute video is being produced to honor veterans with the same gratitude and respect found in the live event each year. The video, which will be presented on the Carencro Veterans Memorial Facebook page and on this website, Saturday, November 7, will include some unique features, as well as those program highlights everyone looks forward to each year.

The patriotic essay contest for local students, sponsored by the Carencro Business Association, will continue this year, with top-finishing students recognized in the video.

The event planning committee focused on continuing the long-standing tradition of honoring veterans, while also avoiding unnecessary health risks, especially among the veterans who normally attend, many of whom are at increased risk.
