Every year, the Bayou Vermilion District and Vermilionville celebrate the cultures of Acadiana that contribute so much to our unique folklife. Come back to Vermilionville in June for the return of our Creole Culture Day event!

With our partners at Creole Inc, and support from the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, Lafayette Consolidated Government, and the Vermilionville Living History Museum Foundation, this year’s celebration of the Creole culture and history is expanding into a TWO DAY format. With panels and presentations in the mornings, and live music bands in the afternoons, this is an event not to be missed.
