The Continental Congress set aside the first Thursday in May as the National Day of Prayer in 1775.

First Baptist Church in Crowley will hold a Virtual Day of Prayer Thursday, May 5th at 6:30 p.m.  For the past 20 years, Crowley has observed the National Day of Prayer.  Rather than meeting together at the Rice Festival Building this year the program will be streamed from the website of First Baptist Church in Crowley.
