Festival of Words is on the road, This month’s event takes place in Breaux Bridge On Wednesday, July 27 Festival of Words hosts a literary reading and Open Mic at Tante Marie,  107 N Main St, Breaux Bridge, the event begins at 6 p.m.  The evening includes Breaux Bridge resident Liz Burk and UL professor Toby Daspit—both are active in the Acadiana literary arts scene.   The evening will include an open mic of literature, music and stories as well as a group poem in which everyone is invited to share a line. Guests are welcome to bring their own poems, songs or stories for the open mic. This free event is suitable for all ages.
