The Friends of the Lafayette Public Library will honor South Louisiana native, Ken Wells, at their annual Author Dinner. Wells is a novelist, longtime Wall Street Journal writer and Pulitzer Prize finalist; additionally, he is a storyteller, photographer and musician. His Catahoula Bayou Trilogy includes Meely LaBauve, Junior’s Leg and Logan’s Storm.
This community event will be held at the Petroleum Club of Lafayette on Wednesday, October 24th. Reservations may be made beginning Monday, October 1st, by calling Bobbie at (337) 984-8661. The attendance fee is $25, and payment will be taken at the door. After the presentation, Ken Wells will sell and autograph his books for those interested.
