Calling all chili cook-off teams. Bring your best chili recipe to compete at LARC’s Chili Cook-off October 28 from 10-2 p.m. Shop the vendors, enjoy great music and kids activites. Admission for adults is $10/$5 for kids.
Cook-Off Rules
· $50 Team Entry Fee (4 Person Team)
· Cooking teams can set up starting at 7am
· Judging at 11
· Start serving public @11 (after judge turn in)
· Teams must cook a minimum of 2 gallons (8 quarts)
· All cooking must be done on site
· Teams may use any meat, but NO seafood
· Teams must provide tasting cups and utensils for public (small styrofoam coffee cups work well)
· Event will supply containers for judges only
· Teams must provide table, cooking equipment, etc.
· Teams are responsible for cleanup of their space
· Team captain is responsible for conduct of the team
· Cooking awards given in 3 categories:
· Judges Choice, 1st, 2nd, 3rd People’s Choice
· BEST decorated table/booth will also receive an award
