For the fifth year, Lafayette Travel will host the Taste of EatLafayette event in conjunction with Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser and the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board’s 2022 Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off (LASCO), Tuesday, June 7, at the CAJUNDOME Convention Center, from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm.
This is the 15th year for Louisiana’s premier cooking competition, which is presented by the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board.
The tasting event offers a chance to sample cuisine from locally-owned restaurants participating in EatLafayette while watching chefs from around the state compete for the title of Louisiana Seafood King/Queen. The 2022 Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off winner will represent the state in the 18th annual Great American Seafood Cook-Off in New Orleans on Saturday, August 6, at the Morial Convention Center.
