Dive deep into reading this summer! Patrons of all ages can participate in our Oceans of Possibilities Summer Reading Challenge, beginning June 1 at all Lafayette Public Library locations. Join us for a multitude of free programs such as storytelling, puppetry, crafts, dance, drawing, plays, music, and more. There will be one level of prizes, based on reading minutes and challenges. Use the Summer Reading Challenge reading log (found in the printed BookTalk newsletter) and available online at LafayettePublicLibrary.org/summer to track your progress.
On Saturday, June 4 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, the Main Library will host Oceans of Possibilities Summer Reading Kickoff Celebration. Join us to enjoy a family friendly day and get registered for the Summer Reading Challenge. You’ll enjoy a fun jump, live performances, crafts, community fun with downtown organizations, and more. We will have food trucks selling a variety of treats. For more about this year’s Summer Reading Challenge and Kickoff Celebration, visit LafayettePublicLibrary.org/summer.
